25mm Fabric Reinforced Rubber Steam Hose

Textile reinforced steam hose in 25 mm (1"), part RSH25, for saturated steam at 6 bar (90 psi) or hot water delivery at 15 bar (225 psi). The larger bore is chosen for longer cleaning runs and light plant service lines, where the pressure drop over a small hose starts to show at the lance. Reinforcement is high tensile textile cord, so the hose stays coilable at this size; the tube is black smooth conductive EPDM.

Compatibility and fitting

• Assemblies must be crimped or fitted with bolted steam clamps, then inspected before each use; a worm drive band is not a steam fitting
• Check the bore against the lance or gun inlet, and keep the run as short as the job allows
• Bolted clamps and bands are in the clamps range
• Higher pressure and temperature at this bore means 25 mm steel wire reinforced steam hose instead

What is the difference between the two steam constructions?

Reinforcement and rating. This hose uses textile cords and is limited to 6 bar (90 psi) on steam at up to +165°C. The steel wire version runs to 18 bar (270 psi) and +210°C, and weighs more for it. Never substitute one for the other on rating alone.
