Camlock fittings connect and disconnect hose lines in seconds: push the male adapter into the female coupler and close the two cam arms. No threads to cross, no tools, and a seal that holds under suction or delivery pressure. Types of camlock fittings we stock
- Type A: male adapter with female BSP thread, for connecting a hose line to a threaded outlet.
- Type B: female coupler with male BSP thread.
- Type C: female coupler with hose tail, the most common hose-end coupler.
- Type D: female coupler with female BSP thread.
- Type E: male adapter with hose tail.
- Type F: male adapter with male BSP thread.
- Dust caps (Type DC) and dust plugs (Type DP): keep open couplers and adapters clean between uses.

Choosing the right camlock
- Size: match the hose inside diameter and the thread size on the equipment. Camlock sizes are nominal, so a 2 inch coupler fits any 2 inch adapter regardless of brand.
- Material: polypropylene is light and corrosion-free for water, sullage and mild chemicals; aluminium suits fuel, oil and agricultural spraying; stainless steel handles aggressive chemicals, hot water, food and saltwater.
- Thread: our threaded camlocks are BSP unless stated on the product. Check the product specifications before ordering to suit NPT equipment.
- Seal: standard couplers use a nitrile (NBR) gasket suited to water, oils and fuels. Ask us about EPDM or Viton gaskets for chemicals.
