20mm White Marine Sanitation Hose

Part PSHSW20 is the smallest bore in the white marine sanitation range: a smooth bore toilet waste hose with a nominal 19 mm inside diameter and a 25.8 mm outside diameter. The wall is a white PVC blend carrying 20% nitrile content, and on a sanitation line that is the number that counts, because odour escapes through the hose wall rather than past the clamps. A rigid PVC helix holds the bore open on vent lines and short pump connections.

Why does the nitrile content matter?

Odour does not come out of the joints, it passes through the wall of the hose. The supplier specifies a high nitrile content PVC blend, 20% nitrile here, for resistance to odour permeation on toilet applications. A plain PVC hose in the same bore has nothing doing that job.
