6mm Blue/Yellow PVC Air Hose

6 mm blue and yellow PVC air hose (part PHM06) is the smallest bore in the range, for air tools and small pneumatic drops where the hose is handled all day and weight at the tool matters. It is built from a black PVC smooth inner with high tenacity polyester yarn reinforcement and a blue PVC cover with a yellow stripe, and it stays flexible in the cold where cheap air hose goes stiff.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 6 mm hose tail; secure with a hose clamp, two per end on a pressurised line

• For oil resistant service, rubber multi purpose hose is the better choice

Is 6 mm enough for an air tool?

For blow guns, staplers and tyre work, yes. For a grinder or a sander drawing continuously, the small bore is what starves the tool, so step up to 10 mm or 12 mm.
