Stainless Steel Uni band 30m Roll

Uni band is a roll of stainless steel strap you cut to length to make a clamp of any diameter. Where a fixed clamp runs out of range, or the thing being clamped is not round, banding is the answer: cut, thread through a buckle, tension and trim. One roll covers everything from a large hose to a power pole.

Compatibility and fitting

• Order matching buckles alongside the roll; the band is supplied on its own
• Choose the width and thickness for the load, not just the diameter
• Use the CT1 tool to tension and cut, which leaves a safe trimmed end
• For hose to fitting joints inside the range of a normal clamp, a worm drive clamp is quicker

How much band does a joint use?

Circumference plus enough tail to thread the buckle and grip in the tool, so allow the diameter times 3.14 plus roughly 150 mm. A 30 m roll goes a long way on most jobs.

Can it be reused?

The band is cut to length so it is consumed, but that is the point: you make exactly the clamp the job needs rather than carrying stock in every size.
