John Guest Red Tube is produced from Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), offering a more robust construction than traditional low or medium density polyethylene tubing. Manufactured from non contaminating, FDA compliant material, the tube is suited to cold and intermittent hot water applications. Its chemical compatibility and material integrity make it ideal for potable water systems used with caravan plumbing fittings and mobile water layouts.

The red LLDPE tube is available in 12 mm and 15 mm external diameters and integrates directly with John Guest push fit fittings, shut off valves and standard tube connectors. It is NSF International certified and provides strong resistance to environmental stress cracking, measured in accordance with ASTM D-1693 (10 percent IGEPAL). The coloured tube range supports clear system identification in caravan, marine and filtration applications.
