About Pumps

Marine pumps are the small motors that keep a boat dry and its taps running. Hose Suppliers Australia stocks the Relaxn range in Brisbane: submersible bilge pumps for hull drainage, automatic bilge pumps with an integrated switch, and fresh water diaphragm pumps for boats, caravans and off-grid supply, alongside the hose, clamps and fittings to install them.

Types of marine pumps we stock

• Submersible bilge pumps: 12V pumps in 500 GPH, 1100 GPH and 2000 GPH, wired to a helm switch or a float switch.
• Automatic bilge pumps: 750 GPH and 1200 GPH with built-in water sensing, in 12V and 24V versions.
• Fresh water pumps: 12V diaphragm pumps with bypass, 11 LPM at 55 PSI (four chamber) and 19 LPM at 60 PSI (five chamber), for pressurised galley, shower and caravan systems.

Choosing the right pump

• Flow: size bilge pumps by hull volume and go up a step if the boat lives on a mooring; size water pumps by how many outlets run at once.
• Voltage: match the boat or caravan system, 12V or 24V.
• Automatic or manual: automatic pumps protect an unattended boat; manual pumps give you control from the helm.
• Plumbing: connect with marine and RV drain hose, stainless hose clamps and, for water systems, caravan plumbing fittings.
