Blue silicone intercooler hose joins boost pipes and coolant runs where rubber would go hard, swell or blow off under pressure. This is the 150°C grade, with a smooth bore and a wall that keeps its shape rather than collapsing on a bend. Sizes of silicone intercooler and radiator hose we stock
- 25 mm to 38 mm (1" to 1 1/2"): small coolant joins, bypass runs and compact intake piping.
- 44 mm to 63 mm (1 3/4" to 2 1/2"): the common band for radiator hose joins and factory-size boost piping.
- 70 mm to 90 mm (2 3/4" to 3 1/2"): larger turbo systems, truck cooling and machinery.
- 100 mm and 125 mm (4" and 5"): heavy plant, generators and big-bore intake work.

Choosing the right intercooler hose
- Size: measure the pipe outside diameter, not the old hose, which will have stretched at the joint.
- Length: allow enough hose for the clamp to sit fully on the bead and clear of the pipe end, then choose the nearest straight.
- Temperature: this is the 150°C grade. Keep it clear of direct exhaust contact and check charge temperature on hot-side joins.
- Pressure: boost joints rely on the clamp as much as the hose, so use enough clamp force and check it after the first heat cycles.
- Clamping: T-bolt or non-perforated band clamps from our hose clamps range, never a perforated worm drive.
