15mm John Guest Adaptors

Three parts carry a 15 mm push fit line onto 1/2 inch BSP thread: JGC1512M, tube to 1/2 inch male BSP in acetal; JGBMC1512, the same size and thread in brass; and JGC1512F, tube to 1/2 inch female BSP. Between them they cover the transition every caravan, boat and beverage fitout needs somewhere.

Compatibility and fitting

• The 15 mm is the tube and the 1/2 inch is the thread; they are two separate dimensions on one part
• Push fit end takes the 15 mm tube already in the run, blue or red

Male or female, which one do I order?

Look at the port you are joining, not at the adaptor. A male thread standing proud on a pump or filter head takes the female adaptor JGC1512F. A female socket takes the male, either JGC1512M in acetal or JGBMC1512 in brass.

What separates the acetal and the brass adaptor?

The body material and nothing else. JGC1512M and JGBMC1512 are both 15 mm tube to 1/2 inch male BSP; John Guest supplies the adaptor range in acetal or brass so the fitting can be matched to the rest of the installation.
