About Water Guns

A hot water gun is the part of a washdown line that gets handled hardest and heated the most, which is why a garden trigger nozzle fails within days in a food plant. The guns we stock are built for hot wash-down: sealed bodies, heat-resistant materials and ratings printed on each model, from 50 degrees C up to 90 degrees C. Stock sits in our Brisbane warehouse and ships Australia-wide.

Types of hot water guns we stock

• RB35 hot water gun, blue, 80 degrees C: the everyday gun for warm wash-down in sheds and processing areas.
• RB35 hot water gun, blue, 50 degrees C: for lower temperature rinsing and general cleaning duty.
• RB65 hot water gun, red or blue, 90 degrees C: the heavy-duty option for sustained hot washing in dairies, abattoirs and food plants.
• Hot water gun, 82 degrees C: a mid-range alternative where 80 degrees C is marginal.
• Pistol grip water gun: a straightforward trigger gun for cold water washing and general yard work.

Choosing the right water gun

• Temperature: pick a gun rated above the hottest water it will see, not at it.
• Inlet: check the thread on the gun against the fitting on your hose, and use a brass fitting or stainless fitting to adapt if needed.
• Hose: pair a hot gun with our hot water wash down hose rather than a cold-water PVC line.
• Duty: for occasional cold rinsing, a simple trigger gun is enough; for shift work, buy the rated hot gun.
