About Garden Hose

Garden hose from Hose Suppliers Australia is a 12 mm PVC hose for taps, sprinklers and general watering around the house, shed and yard. It comes in full coils rather than cut lengths, so you can run one continuous line without a joiner every few metres.

Garden hose lengths we stock

• 18 m and 30 m coils: the usual choice for a suburban block, a courtyard or a caravan site.
• 50 m and 75 m coils: for acreage and sheds where the run is longer than a standard hose.
• 100 m coil: for large properties, nurseries and wash bays, or to cut into shorter hoses on site.

Choosing the right garden hose

• Size: 12 mm (1/2") is the common garden hose diameter in Australia and matches standard tap and hose fittings.
• Fittings: pair the hose with garden hose nozzles and spray guns, or step up to a brass fitting for a connection that will not crack in the sun.
• Temperature: this is a cold water hose. For heated water use our hot water wash down hose instead.
• Clamping: secure hose tails with a hose clamp rather than relying on a push fit.
