316 Stainless Steel Ball Valve – 2 Piece

A two piece ball valve with the body and the ball both in 316 stainless steel, BSP threaded, and bored full flow so an open valve is not the restriction in the line. Rated to 1000 psi maximum working pressure. Ten sizes run from BVSS06 at 6 mm to BVSS80 at 80 mm, which is the widest small bore coverage in the stainless range.

Two piece or three piece?

The two piece body is the compact option and the right buy when the valve is simply an isolation point. The three piece is bolted, so the centre section comes out for cleaning or a seat change. On a brewery or food line that is worth the extra body; on a plant water line it is money spent on a feature nobody uses.

What does full flow bore mean here?

The hole through the ball matches the bore of the threaded ends, so a fully open valve leaves the line effectively unrestricted. That is why it goes on pump suction and discharge runs, where a reduced bore valve would cost head you cannot spare.
