32mm Clear Vinyl Tube

32mm clear vinyl tube (part CVT32) is a heavy bore clear tube for drainage and bulk transfer, used where a rigid pipe would be awkward and a visible flow path is useful for checking the line is running. The tube is unreinforced virgin PVC with a light blue tint, so the line stays soft, bends easily and lets you see exactly what is moving through it.

• Nominal inside diameter 32mm, outside diameter 38mm
• Working pressure 0.2 MPa (29 psi) at 20°C
• Operating temperature -5°C to +60°C
• Clear with a blue tint, so flow and blockages are visible
• Virgin PVC conforming to AS/NZS 2070 for plastics in food contact, and EU RoHS compliant
• Good chemical resistance and a moderate level of UV protection
• Supplied cut to length or as a full coil (30 m)

Compatibility and fitting

• Sizing is by inside diameter: 32mm tube fits a 32mm barb or spigot
• Secure with a hose clamp or crimp ferrule sized to the 38mm outside diameter
• Warming the end in hot water makes it far easier to push onto a tight barb
• For pressure work choose a reinforced hose from the PVC hose range rather than unreinforced tube

How is it best supported?

At this bore the tube is heavy when full. Clip or tray the run at regular intervals so the weight is not hanging off the fittings, and keep long horizontal runs supported to stop them sagging.
