76mm PVC Food Suction Hose Red/Clear

The largest bore in the red and clear range: 76 mm inside, 89.6 mm outside, for tanker loading and unloading and for bulk transfer where anything smaller would take all day. The clear wall lets an operator see the product and the air, and the red helix carries the vacuum. Rated 0.5 MPa (73 psi) at 20°C. Stock code PSHRC076.

Compatibility and fitting

• Watch the pressure ceiling: 0.5 MPa is the lowest in the range, and a positive displacement pump can pass it

Is 76 mm the same as a 3 inch hose?

It is the metric size stocked for that duty, and it is the bore the fittings must match. Order the tails, camlocks and clamps to 76 mm and to the 89.6 mm outside diameter rather than to a nominal figure, or the ends will not pull up square.
