Bowser Nozzle 1” BSPF

A bowser nozzle is the trigger and spout end of a fuel or water transfer line, the part that shuts off at the tank rather than back at the pump. This one has a 1” BSPF inlet and comes in three versions, and they are not interchangeable: FTG025 is the unleaded fuel nozzle, FTG025C is the water nozzle and FTG025D is the diesel nozzle. Choose by the fluid, because the seals and the internals are matched to it.

Compatibility and fitting

• The 1” BSPF inlet takes a male BSP tail or adaptor; see brass fittings
• Feed it with a hose rated for the fluid, not a general purpose hose
• For wash down rather than transfer, see water guns

Which part number do I need?

FTG025 for unleaded, FTG025C for water and FTG025D for diesel. The inlet is 1” BSPF on all three, so they look interchangeable on the bench. Order by fluid and label the nozzle once it is fitted.

Can the diesel nozzle be used for petrol?

No. The three versions are listed separately by fluid for a reason, and swapping a diesel nozzle onto an unleaded line puts the wrong seals in contact with petrol. Use FTG025 for unleaded.
