Bronze Full Port Ball Valve F&F

A bronze bodied ball valve with a full port bore and a female BSP thread at each end, for water systems, air lines and general service. Bronze is the body material reached for where corrosion resistance matters, and the full port bore means the ball is drilled to the same size as the thread, so an open valve costs almost nothing in pressure. Six sizes: BVBR12 at 12 mm to BVBR50 at 50 mm.

Full port or reduced bore?

Full port means the hole through the ball is the same size as the port, so a fully open valve barely registers in the line. A reduced bore valve steps flow down through a smaller ball and costs you pressure every time it is open. On a pump suction or a gravity fed line, the larger full port body earns its space.

Bronze or nickel plated brass?

Both are full port with female BSP threads. Bronze is the heavier casting and the one usually specified for water and marine work. The nickel plated brass valve carries a published 2500 kPa cold working pressure and a stainless steel handle, and it runs from 6 mm all the way to 100 mm.
