Pistol Grip Water Gun

PGWN is the straightforward pistol grip gun for vehicle and general washing, built around a heavy duty all zinc metallized body with an all brass valve stem and adjusting nut and a stainless steel spring behind the trigger. That combination is why it outlasts a moulded garden trigger on a bay that runs all day. Pressure is 90 PSI, flow 23 L/min, and the maximum water temperature is 82°C. The inlet is 3/4" FBSP with a washer.

Compatibility and fitting

Is a pistol grip better than a twist nozzle?

For repeated on and off work, yes. The trigger stops flow at the gun rather than at the tap, so an operator moving between vehicles is not walking back and forth. A twist nozzle is simpler but slower to shut.

Can it be used in a food plant?

Not for hygienic wash down. A metal bodied gun with an exposed trigger has crevices that cannot be cleaned properly, so the sealed RB35 and RB65 guns are the ones specified for food and beverage areas.
