BP1200A12 is the automatic pump most people step up to when a 750 GPH unit is not clearing a bilge fast enough. It is rated 1200 GPH, approximately 4540 litres per hour, on 12V, with water sensing control built into the pump so there is no external float switch to wire, mount or clean. That matters on a mid-size or cabin boat where the bilge is deep and awkward to reach. Ignition protected, non-burnout, water-cooled motor with a stainless steel shaft and a snap-on strainer base.

Why choose integrated sensing over a float switch?

Fewer parts in the bilge. A float switch has an arm that can be held down by a rag or gummed up by oil, and it needs its own mounting and wiring. Integrated sensing puts the control inside the pump body.
