Relaxn Bilge Pump 2000 GPH 12V Submersible

BP200012 is the high output pump in the Relaxn range, rated 2000 GPH or approximately 7570 litres per hour. It is the pump for larger hulls, commercial vessels, and for the second, higher mounted position where a boat needs real capacity in reserve rather than a trickle. The motor is ignition protected, non-burnout and water-cooled, running a stainless steel shaft, and reverse polarity protection is built in. It is compatible with float switches where an automatic system is being built up from parts.

Is a 2000 GPH pump overkill on a trailer boat?

Usually. Rated flow is measured open, and a big pump on undersized hose and wiring will not deliver its number. BP110012 at 1100 GPH is the more common trailer boat fit, with this one kept for larger hulls or as a high mounted second pump.
