Stainless Steel Mesh Strainer

This is a strainer insert rather than a complete valve: a stainless steel mesh screen with a plastic end cap that sits inside a compatible housing and catches debris before it reaches a pump, a valve seat or a nozzle orifice. Seven sizes, YCVS12 at 12 mm through YCVS65 at 65 mm, matched to the same line sizes as the York check valve range.

Is this a complete strainer assembly?

No. It is the insert: a stainless mesh screen with a plastic end cap that drops into a housing you already have. If you need the housing as well, tell us the line size and the duty and we will match one from the range.

What size should I order?

Order on the line size the housing is built for, anywhere from 12 mm to 65 mm. The part numbers follow that size directly, so a 40 mm line takes YCVS40 and a 50 mm line YCVS50. The mesh is stainless steel, so it can be pulled and rinsed rather than replaced every time.
