2.8mm (7/64") Rubber Vacuum Hose

At 2.8 mm (7/64") this is the finest bore in the rubber vacuum hose range, the size used for vacuum signal lines, small instrument connections and the short runs on a carburettor or distributor that a larger hose simply will not sit on. The wall is EPDM, so it stays pliable under a hot bonnet rather than going hard and splitting at the spigot. Temperature range is -40°C to 125°C and maximum pressure is 50 psi.

Compatibility and fitting

How do I know which bore I need?

Measure the spigot the hose pushes onto, not the old hose. A 2.8 mm bore wants a spigot of about the same diameter so the rubber stretches slightly and grips. If the old line slid on loosely, step down a size rather than adding a clamp.
