25mm Safety Yellow PVC Hose

The 25 mm bore, PHS25, is the general purpose site size: pump outlets, standpipes and heavy duty compressed air runs where a 20 mm line starts to choke. It measures 34.8 mm on the outside. The yellow ribbed cover is not decoration, it is what keeps the hose visible in a trench or across a slab, and it takes abrasion and sunlight better than a plain smooth cover. Rated 1.6 MPa (230 psi) at 20°C to AS/NZS 2554 with a 4:1 safety factor.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 25 mm tail or camlock; see camlock fittings
• On air, use ferrule-crimped ends rather than a worm drive where the line is dragged

Is it a suction hose?

No. It is yarn reinforced with no helix, so it will flatten if a pump pulls vacuum on it. Use it on the delivery side and fit a proper suction hose to the pump inlet.
