50mm PVC Food Suction Hose Red/Clear

Tank-to-tank work starts at about this bore. Fifty millimetres inside, 60.2 mm outside, a clear heavy duty PVC wall and a red helix that keeps the hose round while a transfer pump pulls on it. Working pressure 0.6 MPa (87 psi) at 20°C, and the compound is phenol and phthalate free. Stock code PSHRC050.

Compatibility and fitting

• A 50 mm suction line does not tolerate a kink; keep the run short and support the hose at the pump inlet
• Camlocks are worth fitting at this size for changeovers: camlock couplings

• Rubber alternative when the hose lives outside: 50mm rubber food suction hose

Can it run on the discharge side too?

Yes. The supplier lists this hose for suction and discharge of food grade liquids, so the same 50 mm line works either side of the pump provided the discharge pressure stays inside the 0.6 MPa rating at 20°C.
