50mm Rubber Food Suction Hose

Plant transfer size. A 50 mm bore, a food quality synthetic rubber tube that is FDA approved, and a steel wire helix set inside high strength synthetic cord so the hose stays round on a suction line. The cover is abrasion and weather resistant, which is what keeps it serviceable outside a pump room. Working pressure 10 bar. Stock code RSFG050mm.

Does the helix have to be earthed?

The steel wire helix in this hose is there to hold the bore open under vacuum, not as a static path, and the supplier makes no anti-static claim for it. If a job needs a bonded hose, say so when you order rather than assuming the wire does that work.
