6.4mm Clear Yellow Tygon Hose F-4040A

The 6.4 mm bore, TYGON1/4, is the larger of the two common small engine fuel sizes and the one usually fitted where a tank sits above the engine and feeds by gravity. Rated to 30 psi across 0 to 74°C, it suits fuels, lubricants and some chemicals. Clear yellow tubing earns its keep on a test bench or a diagnostic job, because you can watch for bubbles that a black rubber line would hide.

Does the tubing suit every chemical?

No. The supplier lists it for fuels, lubricants and some chemicals, which is not the same as all of them. Check the fluid against a Tygon F-4040-A compatibility chart before you run it, especially for solvents and strong acids.
