63mm PVC Food Suction Hose Red/Clear

Sixty-three millimetre bore for bulk suction and discharge: winery and brewery pump rooms that have outgrown 50 mm, and juice or dairy plant moving product between large vessels. Clear heavy duty PVC wall, red helix, working pressure 0.6 MPa (87 psi) at 20°C. Stock code PSHRC063.

Why does a hose this size need a helix at all?

Vacuum acts on the whole wall area, and at 63 mm that area is large enough to fold an unreinforced hose shut in seconds. The moulded-in helix is what makes this a suction hose; a delivery hose of the same bore would collapse on the pump inlet.
