76mm Rubber Food Suction Hose

The largest bore in the rubber food range, and the one that ends up on milk tankers and bulk loading points. A food quality synthetic rubber tube, FDA approved, sits inside high strength synthetic cord and a steel wire helix, under a cover built to take being dragged across concrete. Working pressure 10 bar, -35°C to +70°C. Stock code RSFG076mm.

Why is a suction hose used for tanker loading?

Because the tanker pump pulls product up out of a vat, and the line ahead of it is under vacuum for the whole draw. A delivery hose folds shut in that duty. The steel wire helix in this 76 mm hose is what keeps the bore open until the vat is empty.
