9.5mm Clear Yellow Tygon Hose F-4040A

At 9.5 mm, TYGON3/8 is the largest of the fuel feed sizes before the range moves into transfer and vent work. The pressure ceiling has dropped to 20 psi by this bore, which is the figure to check before plumbing it into anything with a pump. It suits fuels, lubricants and some chemicals from 0 to 74°C, and the clear yellow wall makes it easy to confirm a line has bled properly on a marine or generator installation.

Why does the pressure rating keep falling as the bore rises?

A wider bore puts more force on the same wall for a given pressure. Across this range the ceiling drops from 50 psi at 2.4 mm to 20 psi here and 15 psi at 19 mm, so always check the figure for the exact size you are ordering.
