Stainless Steel Hose Clamps Non-Perforated Band

A non-perforated band clamp seals with a solid stainless band rather than a slotted one. Because there are no perforations for the screw to bite through, nothing presses into the hose cover, which is what makes this the right clamp for soft wall hose, silicone, and anything where the perforations of an ordinary worm drive clamp would emboss and eventually cut the hose.

Compatibility and fitting

• Measure the hose outside diameter with the hose fitted, then pick the clamp range that brackets it
• Position the clamp behind the barb or bead, not over the end of the hose
• Where the joint carries pressure or vibration, a T-bolt clamp is the stronger option
• For general water and air work the perforated band clamp is cheaper and perfectly adequate

Perforated or non-perforated?

Perforated bands are the general purpose choice and cost less. Non-perforated bands are for soft, thin or expensive hose, where the slots of a perforated band would press into the cover and start a leak path over time.

What does the safety collar do?

It covers the screw head so a screwdriver cannot slip off and into your hand. On a production line or a fleet workshop where clamps are fitted all day, it is worth specifying.
