Retractable SS Hose Reel 18M x 3/4" Hose

Retractable stainless steel hose reel (part HR1300), built from AISI 304 stainless steel and sized for 18 m of 3/4" (20 mm) hose. Sized for 18 m of 3/4 inch hose, this is the middle of the 3/4 inch range and the usual answer when 13 m leaves you a few metres short of the far corner. Supplied as a bare reel, so the hose is chosen to suit the duty and is not included.

Can I fit a shorter hose to this reel?

Yes. The stated length is the drum capacity, not a requirement. Fitting less hose is fine and leaves spare capacity on the drum, which makes winding easier.
