Retractable SS Hose Reel 35M x 1/2" Hose

Retractable stainless steel hose reel (part HR3500), built from AISI 304 stainless steel and sized for 35 m of 1/2" (12 mm) hose. This reel takes 35 m of 1/2 inch hose, giving long reach on a light, easily handled line. It suits maintenance and general water work over a wide area, where the hose is dragged to the job often and volume is less important than getting there. Supplied as a bare reel, so the hose is chosen to suit the duty and is not included.

Compatibility and fitting

• Expect some pressure loss at full extension; that is the trade for the lighter hose
• If the gun feels weak fully extended, the answer is a larger bore rather than more supply pressure
• Wash down hose is cut to length by the metre
• Check the hose rating against your supply pressure and temperature; the hose sets the limit, not the reel

Why choose 1/2 inch over 3/4 inch at this length?

Handling. Thirty five metres of charged 3/4 inch hose is heavy work to pull out repeatedly. If the duty is light water rather than volume wash down, the smaller bore is far easier to live with.
