Brass Barbed Hose Elbow

This brass 90 degree elbow (parts P1103 to P1112) joins two lengths of hose at a right angle where a straight joiner would force the hose into a tight bend. It is machined from brass with a barbed hose tail on both ends and comes in seven sizes from 3/16" (5 mm) to 3/4" (19 mm), covering small fuel and vacuum lines through to 19 mm water and heater hose. It suits water, oil and fuel and is stocked in our Brisbane warehouse. Full specifications are listed below.

Compatibility and fitting

Choose the elbow by the inside diameter of the hose, then secure each tail with a hose clamp sized to the hose outside diameter; our hose clamps start at 6-16 mm for the smallest lines. For fuel work pair the 6 mm and 8 mm elbows with SAE J30R7 fuel hose, and for coolant use rubber heater hose. Frequently asked questions

Is a brass elbow suitable for fuel hose? Yes. Brass is compatible with petrol, diesel and oil, which is why these elbows are commonly used to turn a fuel line in a tight engine bay.

What size do I order? Match the elbow to the hose inside diameter, not the outside. A 1/4" (6 mm) fuel hose takes the 1/4" elbow.
