Bronze Skin Fitting

Bronze has been the material used for hull penetrations longer than any of the alternatives, and it is still the first choice on a timber or traditionally fitted-out boat. This range covers eight bores, SFBR12 through SFBR80, from 12 mm up to 80 mm, which in inches is 1/2" to 3". Each is sold individually so a single failed penetration can be replaced without buying a kit.

Compatibility and fitting

• Keep one material through a single penetration; mixing bronze and stainless at the same hole invites galvanic trouble
• Stainless equivalents from 12 mm to 100 mm are listed under skin fittings and marine products
• Secure hose to the tail with stainless clamps from the clamp range
• Sanitation discharge hose to suit is in white marine sanitation hose

Which size do I order?

Order the bore of the hose or valve the fitting serves. SFBR25 is the 25 mm fitting, listed as 1", and the rest of the range follows the same pattern from 12 mm through to 80 mm.
