White Marine Sanitation Hose
About White Marine Sanitation Hose
Marine sanitation hose has one job that no other hose on a boat has: keeping odour inside the wall for years in a hot, enclosed space. This white PVC range covers the three bores used on most vessels, 20 mm, 25 mm and 38 mm, cut to length from 2 m or supplied on a 20 m coil from our Brisbane warehouse.
Sizes of marine sanitation hose we stock
- 20 mm: vent lines and small pump connections.
- 25 mm: intake and transfer runs on compact installations.
- 38 mm: the standard discharge size on most marine toilets and holding tanks.
All three are cut per metre from 2 m, with 20 m coils for boat builders and refit work. Related drain plumbing is covered by our marine and RV drain hose.
Choosing the right sanitation hose
- Size: measure every spigot in the run. Toilet, tank and skin fitting are often three different sizes.
- Route: keep the run short, avoid low points where waste can pool, and allow a gentle bend radius so the hose does not kink behind a locker.
- Clamping: two 316 stainless clamps per joint from our hose clamps range, opposed and clear of the barb edge.
- Fittings: pair the run with marine skin fittings and seacocks suited to the hull.
- Replacement: renew the whole run rather than patching a section, since the rest of the hose is the same age.
