Poly BSP Female/Male Adaptor

An adaptor that turns a female BSP port into a male one, or steps the thread while it does it. Three sizes are stocked: 72NB2015 at 3/4" x 1/2", 72NB2020 at 3/4" x 3/4" and 72NB2525 at 1" x 1". Poly fittings are light, will not rust and cost little enough to keep a box of them on the ute, which is why they end up on most low-pressure water and transfer work.

Compatibility and fitting

• Use thread sealing paste or thread tape on every connection; the supplier recommends Loctite 5331
• Do not over-tighten: a tapered thread in poly will split if it is wound up like brass
• Pairs with poly hose tail x BSP female to bring hose onto the run
• Full range: poly fittings and nylon fittings

Which end is which?

The first figure in the code is the female end and the second is the male: 72NB2015 gives a 3/4" female and a 1/2" male. Work out which thread you already have before ordering, because a female-to-male adaptor fitted the wrong way round is simply the wrong part.
