Garden Hose Nozzles

Hose nozzles and spray guns for garden, agricultural and wash down work. The nozzle is what decides whether a hose rinses dust off a car or strips mud out of a wheel arch, so it is worth matching to the job rather than taking whatever came with the hose.

Compatibility and fitting

• Connects to 3/4 inch BSP, or to standard click-on garden fittings with an adaptor
• Pairs with garden hose and washdown hose
• For heated water use a hot rated gun from the wash down gun range; a cold water gun will not last on hot lines
• A trigger gun holds pressure in the hose, so use hose rated for it rather than a perished old line

Nozzle or trigger gun?

A plain nozzle is cheaper and has less to break. A trigger gun lets you shut the water off at the work, which saves walking back to the tap and is why it wins for washing anything.

Can I use one on hot water?

Not these. They are rated for cold water. Hot wash down needs a gun built for the temperature, or the seals harden and the trigger starts weeping within weeks.
