10mm (3/8") Rubber Multi Purpose Hose

10mm (3/8") rubber multi purpose hose (part RMPT10) is the most requested size in the range and the default air line for most workshops, carrying enough volume for impact wrenches and grinders while staying easy to drag around. The tube is black smooth synthetic rubber and electrically non-conductive, under a braided synthetic cord reinforcement and a red oil, ozone and weather resistant cover.

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 10mm hose tail; secure with a hose clamp, two per end under pressure
• Brass and stainless tails to suit are in the brass fittings range
• For petrol, diesel or fuel vapour use SAE 30R7 fuel hose, never this hose
• Keep within the -25°C to +100°C range; the cover hardens outside it

What clamps suit this hose?

Worm drive stainless clamps on a barbed tail, two per end on a pressurised line. The braided cord reinforcement takes clamp pressure well, but do not crush it: nip up and stop.
