12mm Blue/Yellow PVC Air Hose

12 mm blue and yellow PVC air hose (part PHM12) is a higher flow air line for tools that draw volume and for long runs where a smaller bore has been costing pressure at the tool. It is built from a black PVC smooth inner with high tenacity polyester yarn reinforcement and a blue PVC cover with a yellow stripe, and it stays flexible in the cold where cheap air hose goes stiff.

• Working pressure 1.6 MPa (230 psi) at 20°C, built to a 4:1 safety factor
• Operating temperature -5°C to +60°C
• Conforms to AS 2554 Class B
• High tenacity polyester yarn reinforcement
• Abrasion resistant cover with a smooth finish
• Flexible at low temperatures
• Cut to length or supplied in coils (20 m, 30 m, 100 m and 300 m)

Compatibility and fitting

• Fits a 12 mm hose tail; secure with a hose clamp, two per end on a pressurised line
• Quick connect couplings to suit are in the Nitto coupling range
• Also available made up with fittings, ready to plug in
• For oil resistant service, rubber multi purpose hose is the better choice

10 mm or 12 mm?

Take 10 mm for a general workshop drop. Take 12 mm where the run is long, the tool is thirsty, or two people work off the same line.
