20mm Fabric Reinforced Rubber Steam Hose

RSH20 is a 20 mm (3/4") textile reinforced steam hose for saturated steam at 6 bar (90 psi) and hot water delivery at 15 bar (225 psi). The high tensile textile cords make it lighter and easier to coil than a wire braided hose, which is what a hand lance operator wants when the same line is dragged out and put away several times a shift. Black smooth conductive EPDM tube under a black EPDM cover.

Compatibility and fitting

• Two ratings, two limits: 6 bar (90 psi) on steam and 15 bar (225 psi) on hot water. Size the assembly on whichever service it will actually see
• Every steam assembly must be crimped or clamped with a bolted steam clamp, then inspected before the line is pressurised
• Suitable clamps are in the clamps range
• For fixed lines that stay connected and take knocks, use steel wire reinforced steam hose instead

Can this hose be used for hot water?

Yes. The supplier rates it for hot water delivery at 15 bar (225 psi) as well as saturated steam at 6 bar (90 psi), with the same -40°C to +165°C temperature range covering both.
