20mm (3/4") SAER6 Hydraulic Push on Hose 250psi

Part SAER612 is the 20 mm (3/4") bore, rated to a maximum of 17 bar (250 psi). This is big bore, low pressure hose: return legs, tank fills and transfer lines where oil has to move in volume and there is nothing behind it but gravity and a little head. One textile braid keeps it flexible enough to be pushed onto a barb and pulled into position by hand.

Compatibility and fitting

• Pushes onto 20 mm push on barbed fittings; warm the hose end in hot water if it is stiff rather than levering it on
• The ceiling here is 17 bar (250 psi), a long way under the smaller bores in the same range
• A hose this size is heavy when full, so clamp the run instead of letting it hang off the fitting
• Anything under pressure at 20 mm belongs on two wire hydraulic hose
• Protect exposed runs with HDPE spiral guard

Can I use a 20 mm return hose on a 16 mm port?

Only with an adaptor barb sized to the hose. The hose must match the barb it is pushed onto, so use a fitting that is 20 mm on the hose side and whatever the port needs on the other.
