About SAER6 Hydraulic Push on Hose 400psi
SAE R6 hydraulic push on hose is the hose to reach for when a low pressure line needs replacing and there is no crimping press on site. The hose pushes onto a barbed push-on fitting and grips, which makes it a favourite for return lines, case drains, fuel and lubrication runs on tractors and mobile plant. Sizes and ratings we stock
- 6 mm (1/4") to 12 mm (1/2"): rated 400 psi, the usual pilot, drain and small return sizes.
- 16 mm (5/8"): rated 350 psi for larger return lines.
- 20 mm (3/4") and 25 mm (1"): rated 250 psi for big-bore, low pressure returns.
- Cut lengths: 1 m, 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, 15 m and 20 m on every size.
Choosing the right push on hose
- Pressure: read the rating in the product title and keep the working pressure well below it. Step up to single wire hydraulic hose or two wire hydraulic hose for pressure lines.
- Size: match the inside diameter to the push-on fitting, not to the outside of the old hose.
- Fluid: suits hydraulic oil, fuel and lubrication service. Confirm with us before running it on anything else.
- Protection: fit HDPE spiral guard where the hose rubs on a boom, chassis or another hose.
