25mm (1") Blue Silicone Heater Hose

25mm (1") blue silicone heater hose (part SILHH25) is the largest bore in the range, for radiator and intercooler connections on trucks, buses and industrial engines where the coolant volume is high and underbonnet temperatures are punishing. Silicone holds its properties through heat cycling where rubber hardens and splits, which is why it is specified on vehicles and plant that cannot afford a coolant failure.

Compatibility and fitting

• Sized on inside diameter: 25mm hose fits a 25mm spigot or outlet
• Use a smooth band or T-bolt clamp from the clamp range; silicone is softer than rubber and a perforated band can bite the wall
• For fuel lines use SAE 30R7 fuel hose, not silicone
• Matching silicone clamp kits are in the silicone hose range

Can it be cut to length?

Yes, it is supplied by the metre and cuts cleanly with a sharp knife. Cut square so the hose seats fully on the spigot and the clamp sits behind the bead.
