25mm Rubber Petrol & Oil Suction Hose

Put 25mm rubber petrol and oil suction hose (RPOS025mm) between the tank and the pump inlet. The 25 mm bore matches the inlet on most small diesel transfer units, and the steel wire helix moulded through the wall keeps that bore open when the pump draws. The tube is a fuel-grade synthetic rubber compounded to 55% aromatic content, so petrol will not soften it and lubricating oil will not swell it.

Compatibility and fitting

• Clamp with SC035, or SC035SS where salt and washdown are a factor
• Suction legs seal better on a barbed tail than a plain spigot; see camlock couplings for quick-break joints
• The discharge leg of the same pump can run 25mm petrol and oil delivery hose
• Keep the suction run as short and as straight as the layout allows

Can this hose also be used on the discharge side?

Yes. It carries the same 10 bar working pressure as the delivery build, so a suction hose can do both jobs. The reverse is not true, which is why the two are stocked separately.
