About Rubber Petrol & Oil Suction Hose
Rubber petrol and oil suction hose does the job a delivery hose cannot: it stays round under vacuum while a pump draws fuel from a tank, drum or tanker. The tube resists petrol, diesel and mineral oils, and the reinforcement stops the wall pulling in on the inlet side. Sizes and lengths we stock

Choosing the right fuel suction hose
- Size: match the pump inlet. A smaller suction hose restricts flow and makes the pump work harder than it should.
- Suction or delivery: pair this hose with petrol and oil delivery hose on the outlet side of the same pump.
- Fluid: petrol, diesel, kerosene and mineral oils. Ask us before running solvents or chemical blends.
- Fittings: aluminium or stainless camlocks with heavy-duty hose clamps, since an air leak at a suction join stops the pump priming.
