About Rubber Petrol & Oil Delivery Hose
Rubber petrol and oil delivery hose moves petrol, diesel, kerosene and lubricating oils on the discharge side of a pump. The tube is compounded to resist fuel, so it does not swell, soften or go hard the way a general purpose water hose does in the same service. Nine sizes are stocked in our Brisbane warehouse, from 20 mm through to 100 mm.
Sizes and lengths we stock
- 20 mm, 25 mm and 32 mm: bowser leads, drum pumps and small transfer pumps.
- 38 mm and 44 mm: farm, workshop and plant refuelling runs.
- 50 mm and 63 mm: larger transfer pumps and fuel storage installations.
- 76 mm and 100 mm: tanker discharge and bulk fuel transfer.
Every size is cut to order in 1 m, 3 m, 5 m, 8 m, 10 m and 12 m lengths, so you can buy the run you need rather than a full coil.
Choosing the right petrol and oil hose
- Suction or delivery: this is the pressure-side hose. Use petrol and oil suction hose anywhere the pump is drawing.
- Size: work from the pump outlet and the fitting shank, not from the outside diameter of the old hose.
- Fluid: suited to petrol, diesel and mineral oils. Ask us about solvents and biofuel blends.
- Fittings: use aluminium or stainless camlock fittings and heavy-duty hose clamps for a fuel-tight join.
