50mm Rubber Petrol & Oil Suction Hose

50mm rubber petrol and oil suction hose (RPOS050mm) is where fuel transfer stops being a portable job. It feeds larger transfer pumps and fixed fuel storage installations from the tank side, and the steel wire helix through the wall carries the load that a 50 mm column of vacuum puts on the bore. The tube handles petrol, diesel, kerosene and lubricating oils at 55% aromatic content.

How long can a suction run be?

Shorter is better. Every metre of hose and every bend adds resistance the pump has to overcome before it lifts fuel, so buy the cut length that fits the layout rather than a coil you have to loop.
