50mm Rubber Water Delivery Hose

The 50 mm size, RWD050mm, is the most-used bore in the rubber delivery range because it matches the outlet on most fire-fighting, irrigation and site pumps. Rated 10 bar (145 psi) on a high strength synthetic cord carcass, with a black smooth synthetic rubber tube and an abrasion and weather resistant cover. Working range -20 to +80°C. Discharge duty only: this hose has no helix and will collapse on a pump inlet.

What size delivery hose should a 50 mm pump have?

50 mm, matched to the outlet. Dropping to a smaller bore to reuse a fitting costs pressure at the nozzle through friction loss, and the longer the run, the more it costs.

Can this hose be used for suction as well?

No. It carries 10 bar (145 psi) from inside, but nothing in the wall stops outside pressure crushing it. On an inlet it flattens, and the pump loses prime.
