63mm Rubber Water Suction Hose

RWS063mm is the 63 mm rubber suction hose, the bore used for water cartage loading and mid-size dewatering pumps. Because the steel wire helix has to hold a bore this wide open against vacuum, the hose is stiffer than the smaller sizes and needs a run planned with a gentle sweep rather than a tight bend. Working pressure is 10 bar (145 psi), temperature -20 to +80°C, and it is cut in lengths from 1 m to 20 m.

How tight can 63 mm suction hose be bent?

The helix sets the limit. Bent too tight the spiral deforms, the bore chokes and the hose can kink permanently. Buy an extra metre and sweep the run rather than forcing a corner.
