About Layflat Hose Red
Red layflat hose does the same work as blue, in a colour nobody confuses at a glance. That matters when a site runs two lines off the one pump set, or when clean and dirty water share a yard. It flattens for storage and rounds out under pressure, and Hose Suppliers Australia cuts it to length in five sizes from our Brisbane warehouse.
Red layflat hose sizes we stock
- 40 mm: small transfer and irrigation pumps.
- 50 mm and 63 mm: general dewatering, water cartage and fire fighting pump discharge.
- 75 mm and 100 mm: high volume transfer and site drainage.
Every size is cut in 1 m, 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, 20 m and 25 m lengths.
Choosing the right layflat hose
- Size: match the pump discharge outlet, not the fitting on hand.
- Duty: discharge only. Suction goes on a helix-reinforced hose such as our grey PVC suction hose.
- Colour coding: pair it with blue layflat hose so the two runs stay separate.
- Couplings: fit camlock fittings and secure each end with a hose clamp rated for layflat.
