63mm (2 1/2") Blue Silicone Radiator/Intercooler Hose

63 mm (2 1/2") is the top of the mid band and a standard size for aftermarket charge air piping, big radiator hoses and truck cooling joins. The hose is blue silicone over four plies of polyester fabric and holds a round section through a bend, which is what keeps a 2 1/2" boost pipe flowing. What the supplier rules out matters as much as what it allows: this hose is not suitable for fuel or oil transfer.

Compatibility and fitting

• At this bore a T-bolt clamp is worth the money: it pulls even tension all the way round, where a perforated band concentrates load and cuts into the silicone. Both styles are in the clamp range.
• 63 mm is the bore, fitting 2 1/2" pipe
• 60 mm and 70 mm sit either side if the pipe measures differently
• Fuel work goes on SAE 30R7 fuel hose, never silicone

What pressure is it rated to?

The supplier publishes the standard and the temperature band for this hose, not a working pressure figure, so we do not quote one. If your application depends on a pressure rating, ask us before ordering and we will go back to the manufacturer.
